Crowns
Crowns are a very common treatment option when a tooth needs to be structurally strengthened. Crowns are typically placed when a considerable amount of tooth structure is lost, or the tooth has had a root canal or a crack. Crowns encase and protect the entire tooth and are either made in porcelain, porcelain bonded to metal, or all gold material. This simulates the original shape, colour and texture of the tooth.
