- A mercury free alternative that is tooth coloured. It is made of synthetic resins and bonded to the tooth structure.
PORCELAIN RESTORATIONS: INLAYS/ONLAYS
- Porcelain inlays and onlays are also a common option to restore weakened teeth. Inlays and onlays protect and strengthen large portions of decayed, or heavily filled teeth. They are made from the same strong, tooth coloured material that is used in crowns and bridges. Porcelain restorations can be highly polished, leaving them plaque resistant and durable.
